Impressive History of Tauck River Cruises Company

The company was founded by Arthur Tauck, who sold travel tickets in 1925 when he took 6 passengers from New England to southeast Canada. The voyage offered a 6-day journey in an all-inclusive format. Passengers were paying $ 69 for a distance of 1,100 miles. While the groups were traveling in the morning, the passengers were resting in the afternoon. At this time, Tauck was also visiting local customers for sales. In fact, it was never considered by Tauck to organize a new or extra tour outside of normal tours. However, due to the beautiful and interesting rumors spread by the 6 passengers participating in the tour, Tauck decided to organize additional flights to the east. Thus, increasing tour activities under the name of Tauck Tours became the basis of the Tauck River Cruises company.
