Ports Law

Ports Law

The regulation that ensures the order in the ports and the application of the rules to be followed by the boat owners is called the ports law. The provisions of this law, adopted on April 14, 1924, have continued to be applied to the present day. On 16 July 2008, a new law was prepared and some articles were amended. Controlling and regulating the ports, which have a very important place in maritime law, is extremely important.

To avoid any problems in harbors and to prevent harm to others by obeying certain rules, the provisions of this law must be complied with. Regardless of the seas or the land, there must be certain rules and whether people comply with these rules. Here is the port law that is used to provide exactly this.
