However, it is known that a cruise ship will be accommodated in Izmir port in December 2020. For the year 2021, 25 ships have been booked. Also, the Izmir shipyard commander announced that the Izmir shipyard was open to all civilian ships. The shipyard has a large area of 134 thousand square meters with three wharves, skids, and pool. The construction works of a pool of ten thousand tons in this shipyard are continuing. Thus, cruise ships wishing to stay on the Aegean coast will be able to choose Izmir easily.
