Fresh and Waste Water Cleaning Process

Fresh and Waste Water Cleaning Process

The cleaning of fresh and wastewater to be carried out on the boats is as follows;

● Before starting the cleaning process, you must check that all functions of the water systems are working. In particular, it is important to ensure that there are no leaks.

● You then need to check the hot water tank while venting and the engine is running.

● Wastewater storage tank and shower circuits should be checked at a later time.

● You must check and label the Y valve in the wastewater system and secure it.

● If there is a purification system onboard, however, chemicals must be present on your boat.

● Before wintering, the fresh water tank and water heater must be emptied and the outlets closed and the heater insulated. After this process, input and output are connected again.

● When pumping the wastewater tank, it must be washed with toilet cleaner and freshwater, then wait a few minutes and pump again by adding fresh water.

● Antifreeze is added to all water systems before winter and pumping is performed throughout the system. This process is continued until the antifreeze arrives in the freshwater system.
