Flags and Flagpoles

Flags and Flagpoles

The flags are special symbols that I use to communicate between the vessels or to sign with coastal stations and coastal units. Flags and flagpoles have a special place on ships. Flags must be buckled on flagpoles. The flags that are buckled with a special method are seen from the bow of the ship, while the left side is the starboard and the right side is the pier. Signposts of sailing boats and parts of these signposts are expressed as follows.

• Mast Missing: This part is the part of the mast sitting on the boat.

• Main Pole: It is the part between the boom and the catch.

• Seren: This is the horizontal bar used to draw the signal flags.

• Stick The part between the hat and the boom.

• Hat: This is the top of the pole.

• Hidden: This is the part where the starboard is buckled.

Types of Flag There are many different kinds of flags used in marine vessels. If we give detailed information about these. Namely;

• Starboard: the national flags used in the seas are called the starboard. These flags should never be dirty, ripped, torn or patched.

• Club Force: Triangular flags carried by club members. Its tip is twice the size of the headrest.

• Club Handlebars: These are special fenders and can only be kept on boats belonging to club presidents, secretaries, and commandos. The ends of these forceps are dovetail-shaped and have all the colors of the club.

• Special Forces: These are rectangular flags designed for the pleasure of yacht owners. However, it must be designed in such a way that it cannot be confused with other country flags and club force while it is being designed.

• International Sign Flags: These are the flags used by ships to communicate with each other and the coastal units. These flags are rectangular and have 26 letter banners. There are also 10 triangular figures. Also, there are 3 repetitions and one answer pennant. Flags and flagpoles used in boats are generally in this way.
