Dalyan Cruise Port

Dalyan Cruise Port

Muğla is one of the most important cities in terms of nature and sea tourism. Dalyan is one of the tourist districts of Muğla. It is the center of attention of local and foreign tourists who want to watch the association of green, blue and sun with history. Iztuzu beach where the Nile turtles, which are endangered in the world, lay their eggs is also important for Dalyan.

Turkey's one of the oldest residential areas in the ancient city of Caunos Dalyan. Royal tombs carved into the rocks, healing spa waters in this region have an increasing effect on tourism activities. Mud baths and boat trips between the canals are among the main tourism activities.

There is no cruise port in Dalyan, which has such beauties and is connected to Muğla province. In 1989, this area was declared a special protection zone by the Special Environmental Protection Board of the Ministry of Environment. Dalyan, a small town, is visited by passengers of cruise ships anchoring in the surrounding ports. Recently, a sailing cruise ship with the flag of Luxembourg, Star Flyer, came to Dalyan during the Mediterranean tour. Since there is no ship port in Dalyan, it is transported to the land by auxiliary boats. This happens at most 5 times a year.

Also, cruise ships arriving at Marmaris port are included in Dalyan. Thanks to these tours, we can say that Dalyan got its share from cruise tourism. It will also contribute to the development of Dalyan in the passenger ship visits to Marmaris.
